Made in America
A digital concert experience
In 2023, Roc Nation approached SwivelMeta to build a virtual experience to accompany the Made in America music festival held in Philadelphia. The experience centers around a digital twin of the D’ussé riser, a place where visitors can watch live performances, purchase real-life swag, and attend live talks about music and bartending.
As design and technical lead on the project, I worked directly with the clients to translate their needs into a spatial experience. I led a team of 3d artists, animators, and software developers to faithfully recreate the concert environment complete with interactive features, live concert video stream, and social elements.
Unfortunately the 2023 concert was cancelled before the digital experience could go live, but there are plans in place to use it for future events.
